The rest of the day’s work wasn’t quite as sexy.

Michael helped Dave and Terry pack up the camera equipment. Tommy rolled a joint and smoked it on the porch. After pulling on his pants and t-shirt, Matthew followed Danielle out into the garden and the two of them spent the next twenty minutes sitting on a bench, well out of ear-shot, talking to each other.

But Terry was already back to looking at the screen.

Danielle stepped away to collect her stuff. That gave Matthew the opportunity to step over to Alyssa; and he gently grabbed her elbow and manoeuvred her into the downstairs bedroom.

“Hey,” he whispered, although Alyssa glanced over his shoulder to make sure Michael hadn’t noticed them slink off. “Thanks.”

Once she was satisfied that Michael hadn’t noticed, Alyssa turned back to the handsome hipster.

“Thanks?” She cocked her head on one side. “Thanks for what?” Then she blushed. “Oh, that blowjob… I mean…”

“Not that,” Matthew laughed, as if giving a virtual stranger a blowjob was no big deal. “I meant what you told me.” He blushed a little. “I told Danielle how I felt.” Then he smiled so wide, his cheeks must have hurt. “She said she likes me too!”

“Awww!” Alyssa clasped her hand to her chest. “Oh, sweetie. I’m so happy for you.” She reached up and wrapped her arms around Matthew’s neck. “Good for you.”

Matthew hugged her back.

“I would never have done it without you.” Pulling out of her embrace, he looked down and said: “You really saved my bacon today.” And then he bent down to kiss her on her cheek.

Alyssa blushed.

But before she could react, Danielle poked her head through the door. The pretty girl’s brow knotted as she saw her boyfriend – of at least three and a half minutes, at least – so close and intimate with another woman.

“Are we going, or what?”

“Oh, yeah, sure,” Matthew nodded. He turned to Alyssa: “Thanks again. I mean it.”

“No worries,” Alyssa beamed. “I’m happy to help.” And then she turned to Danielle. “And I’ll see you next time, right?”

Danielle stared at her suspiciously.

“Yeah,” she eventually grunted, eyes narrow. “Yeah, sure you will.”
